I’m excited to announce Compalluminati 2025 is next month!
Compalluminati is our annual summit for compensation professionals to exchange ideas, build community, and learn from the very best minds in comp.
We started this event last year and the experience was incredible: 120+ people joined us (right in the middle of comp planning!) at two of our customers’ offices, Roblox and Stripe, to talk about the future of compensation.
This year Compalluminati is on April 23-24 (much better!) and co-hosted with DoorDash in their beautiful San Francisco offices.
What you can expect
Compalluminati is exclusively in-person and features two days of immersive discussions, industry talks, and panels led by comp leaders from Cloudflare, Databricks, DoorDash, Instacart, Micron, Shopify, T-Mobile, Walmart, Workday, and more top companies.
Our theme is skills-based comp: promise and skepticism. After being a skills skeptic for many years, I led Compa in launching a skills-based market data product last year. Since then we have observed rapid adoption of skills data for previously impossible levels of benchmarking precision, especially for hot tech jobs. Together we will dig into how (and how not) to leverage skills data in navigating volatile markets.
Oh, and we will announce new Compa products live on stage!
Why community matters
Compalluminati is all about building community.
I think community matters in our world for two big reasons:
Compa is a compensation intelligence company — fundamentally, we aim to answer the question of “what’s happening in the market right now?” in part through our data products, and the rest through community.
The world of compensation is rapidly changing. Over the past few years, many exogenous forces have converged to reshape how we practice comp — AI, pay transparency, remote work, and Wall Street pressure, to name a few. Now more than ever, we must learn and adapt, or risk falling behind.
